neighbor walk

My Mum took Kimi for a walk, while I tailed them and took photos along the way. Flowers, some greens, the first light of the golden hour, kids studying -- this is how it is on a Sunday afternoon in my hometown. It's easy to take something for granted when you are so used to it, and have lived with it all your life, but it is only when I started taking photos around Cavite that I got to sincerely appreciate the random, little and detailed things that it has. There's beauty everywhere, indeed.

CHILL

The red cups are back! And so are the melancholic Christmas songs in Starbucks around this time. Add to it the cold breeze around Tagaytay, and the word 'chill' just makes it perfect for description.

This setting always sends me a familiar yet indistinguishable mood, which usually provokes me to ponder about the little things that tug the heart.

GOLD

Must say, the last two days spent in this place were gold! There was kubo with videoke inside and we spent those two days tiring out the videoke player hahaha! We were supposed to stop singing at 10pm (singing curfew to avoid noise) but that was the time we even sang more hardcore songs! Had wine after dinner and then some more beer with my brother, sis-in-law and cousins. It.was.a.riot! One of the best times after a long time :) Our time together were not that long since everyone has work nowadays and half of us are already out of the country, but was glad it was spent very well. Hoping to more of this :)

CITA'S GARDEN

And then it was time for some get together with the family (mother’s side) since some of us already live in another country. We stayed at Cita’s Garden in Tagaytay for a night.

It was a simple private place with a pool just big enough for both kids and adults to enjoy the water.

I like how this place felt so home-y! The rooms and kitchen looked regular at first sight but the little details added flare to the look and feel of the place.

There were five double-deckers in one of the rooms, and it felt like childhood once again, haha!

I wish to have a home like this in the future :)
