LOST IN TRANSLATION

"I tried taking pictures, but they were so mediocre. I guess every girl goes through a photography phase. You know, horses… taking pictures of your feet."

SELFIE

"All I can say is that my life is pretty plain. You don’t like my point of view, you think that I’m insane."

FILM COUNTERPART

These are still from our office team building in Subic last May. What I love the most with my UWS is the glorious effortless vignettes! and just how it captures everything within sight, and sometimes even more.

Since five rolls of film came back from lab, I’ve realized that the actual shots are even wider than what I see in the viewfinder. And although I’ve read warnings about keeping my finger away from its fat lens, some of it still made through :)

Love these little details that I’m learning with film!

MORE OF SUBIC

Next morning. Took some photos around the resort while I waited for my room mates to wake up and make the most out of our free time. There were a lot of huge dead jellyfishes on the shore, which probably is a sign of a bad ecosystem.

TEAM BUILDING

Joined the company’s team building at Subic over the weekend. A nice little get away from work stuff with the people I work with. Another first within a year of stay! Was a little hesitant at first I’m not gonna lie, but I actually enjoyed it in the end. Surprisingly, I was not that tired when the whole thing was done compared to what I have expected :) Nothing special with the place, but I’m so pleased with the shots that I took overnight :)

I’m not going to recommend White Rock to anyone though. The food is so-so, the door locks in our room are messed up (if not broken), and then we had a not so nice encounter with someone who served the aforementioned so-so food.

Not going back to White Rock, but I’m definitely going back to Subic. Haha! ;)
