GOLDEN HOUR AT SAMONTE PARK

One Sunday morning. I woke up, slung my camera on shoulder, hopped on a bike and made my way to Samonte Park. This is what greeted me good morning at 7AM.

Posting sunny photos (sort of) because it has been stormy and cloudy for the last four days. Glenda (the typhoon) came with very strong winds, we had power blackout until last night.

Sending light to you wherever you are, dear reader :)

WALK

Saturday classes eat up half of my weekend, so I'm glad I'm done with it! Today's our Town Fiesta, but chose to stay at home to make up for slouching and watching TV series. So far from our traditional way of celebrating the fiesta when I was younger. Back then, my grandma would always lead the family in cooking ube (purple yam) on the eve of fiesta. And on the day itself, we'd all gather at her house, eat all kinds of Filipino dishes, play, watch TV, talk, laugh and joke around each other. It's like Christmas minus the gift-giving. And just before the sun goes down, we'd walk to Samonte Park to check out the tiangge, it was always fun and the highlight of the day!

Was able to visit the tiangge a few weeks ago this year, but didn't get to take much photos inside. Just some snaps along Samonte Park and bought street food at the back :)
