PLANTATION BAY

My friends and I recently visited Cebu, but we only had a day to go around the city as we planned to spend more days on Malapascua Island. Straight from the airport, we were picked up by our contact tour guide and driver Kuya Jack. We didn't have a strict itinerary for the city tour, so we just let him take us to spots he thinks we'd enjoy. We did a series of hotel visits, three actually, and the one that made me fire the shutter instantly was at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa.

It had a rustic yet comfortable and fresh feel.

We roamed around a bit while riding the tourist cart, and we were suddenly surrounded with beautiful rooms as though they were little beach houses (sadly, not in the photos). They had gazebos (which reminded me of Emily's beach house in Revenge), men in horses with carriages, and a man-made beach and sandy shore.

How refreshing! I wish we could go back and stay here even for just a night or two :)

RIDING ON CLOUDS

Just came back from vacation about three weeks ago, but here I am yearning again for a time away from the city, traffic and computers.

WIND

There’s so much to be said, but the wind said it all as it lightly touched my face :)

PACK UP AND LEAVE

"Do you ever just want to pack up and leave out of the blue without saying anything to anyone like, just leave and start a new life?"

BOB

I am in love with Bag of Beans now, more than ever. I haven’t been in a while here, and apparently they did some minor renovation with the door and windows in the buffet side. Also, each table now has a vase with flowers, a simple addition to the cozy look, but has immensely freshened up the ambiance. I really love the part when I went back to the table from getting food, and for a split second there it’s like I’m in a different place. The way the light hit the wooden tables and chairs spoke of warmth, joy and serenity.

(Plus, their breakfast buffet now serves bacon! Hundred points for Gryffindor! What’s the point of eating at a breakfast buffet without it, anyway?)

I picked the window-side table just so I could be backed up with enough light to take photos; unfortunately, this is the part where my camera’s shutter release button started to be a Kill Joy and decided to just simply stop firing. Hence, the completely blurred shot of the orgasmic blueberry cheesecake.

I have to come back.
