BREAKFAST. BUFFET. BAG. BEANS.

Always a great time when mornings are spent at Bag of Beans in Tagaytay! Great coffee, good food and THE BEST (blueberry) cheesecake that has ever landed on my mouth. It’s a wonder how such food sooo good even exist! It’s so perfect, it’s unfuckingbelievable.

POST BIRTHDAY

Late birthday post, but I figured these photos need to be documented for future reminiscing purposes :)

My mates at work “surprised” me with a yummy post-birthday cake and a little plant as present! :) It still weirds me out when people do things for me, but I’m always thankful when they do.

I don’t know what to say on being 26. ‘Surreal’ could pass up as the word to describe it but I bet it still doesn’t even touch the surface of how it feels. Being the youngest of the brood, and of the whole family tree, I got used to seeing people around me grow old, except for me. In my mind, people gets old, but never me. Too selfish, eh?

When I was younger (here we go), I’ve always thought being 25 and onward projects a picture of maturity and accomplishment. Ideally to some, it’s the age when you begin to settle. Settle in terms of building your own family or a career. That’s what I thought so too. Now I’m the one who’s on that age, it feels like I have NOTHING.

Okay, that’s an exaggeration, I may have accomplished something at this age, but it still equates to nothing when I think about the things I want to have/be. I’m foreseeing that the next five years is going to be crucial, in preparation for the big 3-0. I have nothing against being 30 though :) I think it’s a great age, perfect for the infamous mid-life crisis, haha!

My thing about being 26 is that, I now get to see first hand the things that I only hear from people back then. I have always reminded myself not to change so I don’t lose the people around me. Lesson #1: That’s bullshit. Haha! If you don’t change, the people around you eventually will. Next thing you know, you don’t know what monsters they’ve already turned in to. It will hurt. But pain is pain. Discard the lame old ones to make room for the better ones, and you will see, it will only get better :)

Staying under construction for as long as I need to. When my fort is built, it’ll be worth it :)

MORE OF SUBIC

Next morning. Took some photos around the resort while I waited for my room mates to wake up and make the most out of our free time. There were a lot of huge dead jellyfishes on the shore, which probably is a sign of a bad ecosystem.
