sleepwalking with the lonely

Hello! How are you? I'm still alive :) Just haven't been able to sit down to update this blog.

I've been thinking about it.. I'll probably won't be renewing my domain anymore. I'm having major doubts lately with the existence of this blog and my commitment to it. I don't want to do any rash decision of taking this down on a whim, so I'll start with not renewing my domain first.

If I get my wheels turning again, I might renew. If not, I'll stick to the blogspot URL. Worst case scenario is not having a blog altogether. Unlikely, but possible.

I'm trying my best to hang on to the last thread of this blog, I hope you all understand.

In the meantime, here's a short travelogue of my trip when I went to Taipei last August :) Enjoy!

korea: a travelogue

My trip to Korea would have to be one of my favorite travel destinations so far. I love it. I visited last February during the coldest tip of their winter. The temperature was unbearable for me who grew up in a tropical country — despite donning four layers of clothing.

I took home only four rolls of film because I spent most of the time burying my frozen hands into my pockets. The rolls are still sitting in my table waiting to be processed. I'm not intentionally marinating them, but I'm not as anxious in seeing them right away, as I am usually in my travel photos. I guess I'm sort of building the thrill this way.

So here's a travelogue, since it will take me months before getting into the photos.

P.S. If you've watched the Korean drama You Who Came From the Stars, then good luck trying to get the song off of your head :) It has to be this song or nothing else. I'm still obsessed with that show, FYI, that's why I had a lot of fun making this one. Enjoy! :)

malaysia: a travelogue

Earlier this week, I got my film scans from my Malaysia trip. It has been two months since then, but when you shoot with film, I think you naturally learn to be patient from not seeing the results right away (we all know this already, right?). I only shot three rolls for this trip, but I am very happy with results.

It may take another three, four months before they see the light of day in this blog, so let me share a video for now :)
